EVERYDAY LIFE & ANIMATION OF THE TENNIS CAMP
CREATING A FAMILY OUT OF 45 INDIVIDUALS BEYOND SPORTS AND COMPETITION, OUR COUNSELORS ARE IN CHARGE OF PUTTING UP EVENING ACTIVITIES, SOMETIMES UNFORGETTABLE, FOR A CAMP IS ALSO A PLACE TO DISCOVER NEW HORIZONS AND TO TAKE PART IN SKETCHES AND GAMES  • Our organization is conscious of what the campers expect of us, but also of the parents’ expectations when trusting us with what they have the most precious to them, their children. Because of that, we determine an operating system that has to guarantee the well-being and security of the children. Afterwards, the tennis program is set up and allows campers to leave camp with a backpack full of progress.•Our staff also has to consider the respect of the campers everyday lives as well as their adaptation in community life where everyone should fit and mutual respect is capital, SECURE AND CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE  • This operating system has to go through essential measures:• Camps are legally declared at the youth and sports departemental direction and answer all criterias of this agreement. • The hygiene and security conditions of the living areas as well as the alimentary conditions are determined by specific and controlled regulations. • The campers actively participate in the organization of certain activities, especially for the preparation of night time activities and outdoor games. A PARTICULARY MOTIVATED STAFF •The recruitment and training of the staff is particularly meticulous. • For our tennis teachers, with a training in the american approach and drills which build the success of a practice session. • For our counselors, often young, they need, beyond their initial training, daily meetings in order to prepare the next camp days. • A sanitary assistant is the guarantor of the medical needs and good health of the children. He is linked with the doctor from the station’s medecine cabinet.  • An important detail: It is strictly forbidden to smoke in our camps and all staff members are non-smokers.This is a criteria for the recruitment of our staff. • Camp life is organized in the respect of the child’s rythm with periods of rest, especially in this camp which has a sports dominance. And of course, periods to shower, write friends and parents, etc.Two launderings are scheduled for each session. • The transparency of this camp is total with the possibility for campers to comunicate with their families by email, phone, or fax. Parents can also ask for the director every evening in case of emergency. • The staff can be contacted at any moment during the 4 sessions throughout the summer. • However, we stay at your disposal for any question concerning the operating system of this summer camp. |
